Monica is founder of the MB Assoicates, a multi- award winning mortgage broker in Surrey UK. She has been in the financial services industry for over 30 years. She is at times referred to as Monica mortgage money / Monica money mortgage by those who know her. You will get to know why.
In this episode Monica talks about what is required to be able to get a mortgage in this current market in the UK and the world - with inflation levels going up, the highest interest rates since 2007, high cost of living etc. She asserts that it is critical to understand how all these affect how much disposable income you have. She also covers how your credit rating will affect the money you intend to borrow.
Monica covers some key aspects like how to ensure that you have the lowest interest rate for the full duration of your mortgage payment period. She calls for the need to look at your interest rates as interest is the one thing that eats into your disposable income.
She also covers the need to deal with credit cards which she calls DEBT cards as they come with higher interest rate than the mortgage.
