Welcome to issue 9 of stellar woman magazine!

I can’t believe it’s already our ninth issue. Just yesterday, we started publishing and spreading knowledge to empower women, helping them discover new possibilities, learn, and strive for greatness to make an impact. It is a tremendous privilege and honor to tell stories of the fantastic stellar women featured in this issue. Issue 9 is all about striving for excellence.

The women interviewed in this issue come from various parts of the globe, including Australia, Singapore, the US, Norway, and the UK. They represent diverse sectors such as Marketing, Personal Development, Business, Logistics and Supply Chain, and Education and Learning. I do not doubt that after reading, listening, or watching these interviews, you will be completely transformed as a woman, a professional, and a leader. Your performance and delivery will reach new heights.

This issue arrives when women continuously raise their consciousness about what is possible for us and within us—our human potential. Society is also making necessary shifts to embrace our contributions. The next level is required of us, so we must learn, adapt, master our craft, and continually strive for excellence to make an even greater impact.

All the women interviewed and our expert contributors have affirmed that striving for excellence is not about perfectionism but setting high standards and doing our best. This is especially important for women leaders and organisations. It was unanimously agreed upon that striving for excellence should be an organisational value. Each of the women featured in the interviews has made striving for excellence a core value in their organizations. As a value, it becomes the way their organizations conduct business.

Our cover woman, Hala Taha, also known as the “podcast princess” and “LinkedIn queen,” is the founder of YAP Media and YAP Network agency. She gives 110% to everything she does and lives by the motto, “The way you do anything is the way you do everything.” Hala is dedicated to serving at the highest level personally and professionally. She encourages women to never lose sight of their purpose, develop confidence and expertise in a key area, and learn to stack their skills. By doing so, they can become the best versions of themselves and be indispensable in any area of service, this approach is echoed by Oprah Winfrey.

Karen Spens, the president of BI Norwegian Business School, one of the best executive education providers globally, emphasizes that what sets BI apart is its unwavering focus on excellence. Excellence is ingrained in the school’s DNA. Karen urges women never to give up, believe in themselves, to support one another, and let their light shine. Her “listen, learn, and lead” mantra offers a leadership approach that can only lead to excellence and greater impact.

Hui Hui, the Founder, and CEO of Impact University and Inner World Training, shares a lifetime’s worth of coaching in her interview. She presents a systematic approach to creating impact, influence, and income. Like Hala Taha, Hui Hui draws inspiration from the phrase “the way you do anything, is the way you do everything.” Hui Hui’s pursuit for excellence began from childhood, it was instilled by her parents. She is passionate about personal growth and achieving results for her clients. With this mindset, excellence becomes an integral part of the process.

Gina Balarin, the founder and CEO of Verbalistic, articulates what striving for excellence means to her: working towards the best. She provides a clear perspective on her striving for excellence and guides readers toward embracing this notion. Gina believes that getting things done well is better than aiming for perfection. She emphasizes the importance of recognizing professionalism and encourages readers to acquire the necessary qualifications and attain chartered status in their fields. Being accountable and responsible will enable continuous improvement and progress toward excellence. Gina also encourages women to celebrate their victories and support one another. She envisions a world where at least 60% of international government positions are held by women, which would create a significant shift in various aspects of society.

In addition to the interviews, this issue features articles that provide strategies to help you on your journey toward excellence in personal, professional, and business growth. Monica Bradley and Uma Subramanian’s articles guide you through developing the right mindset, strategies, and habits to achieve excellence.
