Thanksgiving is over, the leftovers are gone

Christmas lists are made and children of all ages are excited
While Santa and his elves work overtime to fulfill their hearts’ desires
For those less fortunate, we work together to be a blessing
Making sure that they’re warm, fed, and have enough clothes for dressing
With gratitude we wrap gifts, put up trees and ornaments, making our homes merry and bright
Anticipating what’s under the tree at the first morning’s light
It’s the most loving time of the year
As we appreciate those, we hold so dearly
Giving all praises to God for His ultimate gift and sacrifice.
